Dreams
Friday, July 04, 2008: Odin
He was walking down a road in his neighborhood with his wife. The road was covered in slippery ice and snow.
At an intersection, a tall thin man (who looked like an old friend) appears, scarred, left eye missing, ranting, cutting his left arm with a knife. The scar that had destroyed his eye curved and extended along up the left side of his face; it looked old. The knife wounds on on his arms looked vaguely like letters.
The dreamer wanted to ask him how this happened, but could not bring himself to do it. But as if he knew his thoughts, he said, “There was a fight in my house.”
Then he said, “There is something inside of me that has to come out. I don’t know how to make it come out. It is not from this world. It’s in you too!”
A small group of bystanders has begun to gather. A black man with a shaven head tried to talk to him, but to no avail. He asked the dreamer to accompany him.
Then the dreamer experienced a sense of traveling, and passing a deep pool of infinite nothingness.
They arrive at a house. He has three roommates with beautiful, well-ordered, clean rooms. All of them lived in harmony.

Wednesday, July 02, 2008: Toy box
He crouched in the corner of a room. He opened the toy box of his friend Jeremy, quietly urinated in it, and closed the lid. Jeremy came into the room, chatting loudly, opened the lid of the toy box, and started rummaging through it. He did not notice the urine.
Monday, June 23, 2008: Night travel, morning dog walk
He was riding on a bus at night, seated near the driver. The driver was a familiar black man with white hair and moustache. The bus skidded on a patch of ice, but the driver kept control. They were heading down Lincoln Street.
Yet somehow, he found himself walking up Hamilton Street.
In the morning, he got out of bed to walk his dog. As he attached the leash to his collar, he noticed that the small silkie terrier was warm and had white gums. He thought that he was having a reaction to the shots he received at the vets office; he thought that he should return to the vets office right away.
Saturday, June 14, 2008: Break the jar
Jesus stood before him. He said, “When you are ready, bring your jar of treasure to the marketplace and break it open.”
Monday, June 09, 2008: Summoning
He was walking down the street of a city at night. He entered a temple. A ritual was being performed on a raised structure before many onlookers. A demon appeared and everybody fled, including him. He could feel its evil presence trying to infiltrate his mind.
This dream recurred over the last two nights.
Saturday, June 07, 2008: Cracked
While walking down an icy sidewalk at night with his wife and children, he slipped and landed on his head. He felt his head. It was cracked open. “Oh my God, we need to go to the hospital,” he said in panic.
