Saturday, October 11, 2008: Dog in tree

He walked down a dirt road through a forest. His small dog ran ahead of him. At the end of the road was a wall. The dog jumped over the wall. He ran up to the wall. On the other side of the wall was a long drop down. The dog landed in the branches of a leafless tree. Another large black dog was also caught in the tree. And on the ground below the tree, a tyrannosaurus rex prowled. He leaped up to the edge of the wall and jumped down to rescue his dog.

Friday, October 13, 2006: Dinosaurs

Within a lush jungle crater, I hunted velociraptors. I was a little person, three feet tall, armed with tiny steel knives and protected only by animal hides. Despite my size, I could bring my quarry down quickly and efficiently.

As I stood over the body of my recently slain prey, suddenly, I felt the ground tremble. I turned around. Staring down at me was a violet-eyed, ghostly-green tyrannosaurus, easily ten times my size— a Devilsaur! I turned and ran.

I admit, I spent a lot of time yesterday playing my gnome rogue on World of Warcraft.
